This study analyzes the implementation of an electronic portfolio in kindergarten classrooms in a southeastern state. The study included 113 districts, 1,105 schools, 4,389 teachers and 85,339 students. Teachers uploaded evidences, such as notes, videos and pictures that were related to three progressions: Object Counting, Book Orientation and Print Awareness. They also rated students in each of the progressions. This study investigates the relationship between child demographics, teachers’ perceptions of the electronic system, and the quantity of collected evidences and logins to the electronic system. In addition, this study analyzes the relationship between child demographics and ratings. Results suggest that teachers’ perceptions of the electronic portfolio and children’s demographics are related to quantity of collected evidences and ratings.
