This paper seeks to explore the various ways female teachers in a culturally bounded society overcome barriers to technology use in their ESL classrooms. An initial survey provided demographic data and helped inform the research questions, while interviews were conducted to further explore these barriers. Despite the bounded nature of the context of this study, the number one barrier reported was a common one (lack of teacher professional development). Results also indicated while barriers were present, teachers were employing various methods to integrate technology in their classrooms. Providing various methods to overcoming barriers to technology integration will better inform teacher professional development in the field of technology enhanced language learning and equal educational opportunities for males and females.
