The increasing presence of part-time faculty at institutions of higher education calls for rigorous investigation on the relationship between part-time faculty employment and institutional graduation rate at two-year community colleges. In this study, we utilized linear growth modeling and longitudinal data from IPEDS to examine such relationship. Preliminary results indicated that part-time faculty is not significantly associated with institutional graduation rate at public two-year community colleges.
