Abstract

Recognizing the recent MOOC movement in higher education in Korea, this study aims to examine university students’ motivation, technological acceptance and continuance intention to use K-MOOCs. Data was collected from 166 students who took a K-MOOC course through a survey instrument. We found that students’ self-determination motivation did not have a significant influence on satisfaction with the K-MOOC course. Both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness had a positive influence on students’ satisfaction with the K-MOOC course. Satisfaction with the K-MOOC course significantly had a positive influence on students’ continuance intention to use. The perceived ease of use and the perceived usefulness, mediated by satisfaction, had indirect effects on the continuance intention to use K-MOOC.
