Using a funds of knowledge framework, this qualitative case study focuses on student affairs staff and administrators in a college outreach program. Findings suggest that the success of the outreach program is partly due to how staff has incorporated funds of knowledge into its professional practice. This study is significant as it reveals that funds of knowledge are not only accumulated knowledge or culturally developed bodies of knowledge, but that individuals can also capture the spirit of funds of knowledge. Such research on staff and administration can further our understanding on institutional values, critical agency networks, and funds of knowledge.
