This paper examines administrator views of an educator effectiveness model, TAPTM: The System for Teacher and Student Advancement. The current study uses a longitudinal design and draws from the survey data of 167 administrators, representing 119 schools in 11 states. These administrators worked in schools that implemented TAP in both the 2013-14 and 2014-15 school years. Administrators reported favorable and growing opinions of the core elements of the TAP System. Findings also demonstrate that administrators perceived positive TAP System impacts, and perceptions of these impacts have strengthened over the course of TAP System implementation. Specifically, administrators reported increases in collaboration and collegiality among educators, growth in teacher effectiveness, and better ability to recruit and retain teachers.
