Abstract

This self-study explores a partnership between two teacher educators and how through shared teaching and cogenerative dialogue the partnership evolved across two years as the pair developed a new TESOL program. Central to the project was the exploration pivotal moments in the development of a TESOL teacher certification program. Significant discussion about practice, assumptions about teaching, and teaching/learning English in school are woven together. The full-length paper explores pivotal teaching and teacher educator reflection strategies developed.
