The purpose of this research was to survey faculty, staff, and students (constituents) at a midsize southern University about their perceptions and practices related to concealed carry of handguns, particularly in light of vetoed Georgia State HB 859 and current national discussions about gun legislation. While several studies of individual constituency groups exist, there is only one other study that examines faculty, staff, and student views of concealed campus carry. Results show that there are differences among these constituent groups related to policies, practices, likelihood of carrying, support for carrying, and advantages and disadvantages of campus concealed carry. In general, faculty and staff were less likely to support concealed carry on campus than were students.
