Analysis of the Flipped Classroom Development Trends in China

Abstract

This study perform bibliometrics analysis and social network analysis on keywords network of flipped classroom in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database from 2012 to 2015. The researchers conduct two types of centrality analysis, distance analysis, density analysis, cliques analysis, and core-peripherality analysis regarding to the social network individuals and social network structure properties of the flipped classroom keywords network. The results indicate that the research of flipped classroom involves in an interconnected development network with multivariate directions. Even though flipped classroom has the ability to assist educational equity issues, however, more theoretical researches are still in need. The inquiry and implement of flipped classroom requires learner, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers work together.
