The Relationship Between Teaching Efficacy and Teaching Quality of EFL Teachers in Niger

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between EFL teachers’ teaching efficacy and their teaching effectiveness measured by the the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS: Pianta & Hamre, 2009). We believe that the findings of this study will contribute to a better understanding of EFL teachers in economically disadvantaged countries like Niger and systematic improvement of their teaching quality.
