Abstract

This roundtable session reports findings from a content analysis of current and popular textbooks for college-level integrated reading and writing (IRW) courses. The principles, theories, definitions, and understandings of reading and writing that underlie these textbooks will be shared, including whether widely accepted literacy theories are implicitly or explicitly used to inform textbooks.
