Abstract

Four generations of qualitative researchers in education are brought together in this symposium to address the history of the field. Taken together, these autobiographical/philosophical papers provide a window into the history of qualitative research across fifty plus years of its development in education and gesture toward what the future is becoming in the doing of post-qualitative work.
