Session Type: Symposium
This purpose of this symposium drives at an authentic international encounter between researchers from La Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and US-base researchers. Providing an encounter with researchers working research lines in (1) Discourse Theory and Political Analysis and (2) Socially Productive Knowledges, this research presentation provides interaction with researchers working from a Latin Americanist frame on critical projects including critical reflective teaching practice, the history of pedagogical studies in Mexico, and decolonizing and intercultural theory. Overall, focusing on Mexican researchers located at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México reveals a relationship of place, critical concepts, and located critical praxis relevant to an intercultural and international curriculum studies.
