This roundtable features five papers focusing on STEM and the ways some K-12 students are constrained in these classrooms while others gain academic opportunities. This roundtable includes papers that discuss: access to science through literacy instruction, unique classroom experiences in a mathematics classroom, immigrant student's development of STEM identities, a nuanced understanding of technology in 9th grade ELA classrooms, and an examination of an engineering laboratory.
