Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
This invited session is designed to push our thinking toward “bigger bolder” ideas in educational policy given the slow pace of change and broadening inequities. The potential session includes scholars who bring distinct lenses and disciplinary backgrounds to this charge. The proposal builds upon the “broader, bolder” campaign but also extends it into areas that are part of current policy debates (collective impact, mobility/integration policies, etc) and are based in current research studies.
