Parents of students with Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) are presented with challenges not only from their child, but from the public schools. Research suggests that effective school/family partnerships are crucial for successful classroom management and education of children with disabilities. Unfortunately, for our family participants of children with RAD, effective partnerships with the schools was lacking.
