Abstract

This paper will discuss the many forms of love and how they can be developed in educational settings- self-love, personal love, impartial love or compassion, love of learning, love of beauty, nonviolence, and the gift of presence. The paper will focus on the author's own experiences in the classroom and how he attempts to create a nourishing and loving environment.
