Experiences With Diversity and Students' Satisfaction and Sense of Belonging at Research Universities

Abstract

This study uses the Student Experience at the Research University survey to examine the relationship between students’ experiences with diversity and students’ satisfaction and sense of belonging. Results suggest that interactions with diverse peers and perceptions of the climate for diversity are positively associated with satisfaction and sense of belonging.
