This paper examines the “concept as method” of an affective archive. This affective archive, in the form of on online blogging platform, serves as a repository for the effects of affective intensities on teacher-activists who participate in public political action. An affective intensity is the felt sensation of transition that a body experiences when it is affected by another body. As part of an inquiry into how affective intensities in activism open thresholds to pedagogical possibilities, the affective archive works as not only a repository for the thresholds these intensities open, but also as an affecting body. An affective archive has the potential to highlight connections between seemingly disparate actors in public education.
