Existing instruments measuring epistemic beliefs exhibit a range of psychometric issues in professional contexts other than schools and universities (e.g., organizations). These issues might partially be traced back to differences of employees’ positions within organizations. This contribution aims to answer (1) whether there is a universal factor structure of epistemic beliefs across occupational status groups (RQ1) and whether groups of different occupational status differ in their epistemic beliefs (RQ2). A universal structure of epistemic beliefs overarching all occupational groups could be found. The results show that difference in the structure of epistemic beliefs could only be found between concerning the item-factor structure.
