Designing Transmedia Content With University Students: A Narrative Inquiry

Sat, April 14, 2:15 to 3:45pm, Millennium Broadway New York Times Square, Floor: Eighth Floor, Gallery 8

Abstract

We present a work carried out with young university students in the field of social education focused on the analysis of the design, creation and dissemination of transmedia contents.

The educational design that has been the subject of research is first exposed. In second place, the study addresses the main elements that shaped the research design, having opted for a work that combined narrative research with digital ethnography intended to identify the possibilities of transmedia projects for the development of soft skills, the management of tacit knowledge and the collective construction of knowledge.

A third stage describes the main results derived from the educational development followed in the elaboration and production of the transmedia content by the students.
