Developing Communities of Pedagogical Inquiry in British Columbia

Abstract

This is a learning partnership among the BC Ministry of Education, three BC Faculties of Education, and BC school districts across the province. All partners work within and across regional hubs for deep learning and system change. The aims of the project are to:
• support education transformation using the implementation of BC’s newly redesigned curriculum as a change catalyst
• experiential exploration, implementation, research, and documentation of BC’s education transformation by practicing teachers, teacher candidates and teacher educators as they engage together in school-based change processes
