Abstract

The edTPA is being adopted as a new national pre-service teacher performance assessment. This paper describes the experiences of teacher education faculty at a MidWestern College of Education who have been involved in the implementation of the edTPA assessment since 2011. The issues encountered will be discussed using technical, cultural, political and moral perspectives.
