This study aims to explore the impact of two social media platforms, Facebook and Schoology, to support students’ learning during summer internship programs. 46 Bachelor of Science in Information Management (Facebook group) students and 67 Bachelor of Social Sciences (Schoology group) students from a university in Hong Kong participated in this mixed method study. Findings reveal that Facebook and Schoology facilitated students’ learning during the internship in terms of social interaction, problem-solving, perceived ease of use, and enjoyment. This study supports that social media as a learning platform facilitates students’ experiential learning.
