Tue, April 17, 12:25 to 1:55pm, New York Marriott Marquis, Floor: Seventh Floor, Astor Ballroom

Abstract

The research findings presented in this report are part of an ongoing study of the implementation and impact of educator evaluation reform in the state of Indiana. Legislation required research based rubrics for rating the effectiveness of teachers and the use of student learning as one aspect of the evaluation process.

Research questions concerning implementation practices, plan quality, student, educator, classroom, school, and districts demographics, ratings of instructional effectiveness and learning outcomes served as the framework for the analyses conducted. The data was used to run multiple statistical analyses to determine possible relationships associated with the data obtained through this agreement.
