Abstract

This study examines the intersection of national politics and higher education “defense” of its contemporary values of diversity and inclusion. It utilizes discourse analysis to understand the (re)construction of meanings of diversity and inclusion through the university presidential statements in response to President Trump’s executive orders restricting immigration.
