Authors (2014) conducted a survey on school violence in Jamaica. A third of the students claimed that violent incidents occurred at their schools. The effect is so traumatic for victims. Violence also has an adverse effect on teaching and learning. Authors proposed that peace education and conflict resolution be integrated in Mathematics classes. A quasi-experimental study will be conducted to examine the effects of the integration on mathematics achievement and peace education and conflict resolution skills. Experiment will involve solving mathematics problems related to violence and discussions on the effects of and conflict resolution skills. A pilot study was conducted and significant difference was found in students’ mathematics achievement. Students also learned conflict resolution skills.
