The unique advantages of the VR technology in education are allowing students to perceive abstract concepts, and to interact with environments that distance, time, or safety factors make unavailable. The interactive spherical video-based virtual reality (ISVVR) may provide a new potential pedagogical approach to support and improve the learning experience from Geography classes. This study aimed to explore the influential factors for teacher acceptance of the ISVVR supported pedagogical approach. The research model and hypotheses have been established. The questionnaire survey was designed and conducted. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was useful for testing multivariate hypotheses. The findings provide a foundation for further studies on effectively harnessing advanced technology (e.g. the ISVVR technology) supported pedagogical approach in future classrooms.
