Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) are a promising mechanism for teacher professional learning and can play an integral role in supporting technology integration. The PLC in this study was guided by Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and sought to support teachers as they considered how the technology available to them could maximize learner strengths and minimize learning barriers. In this phenomenological study we capture this experience from the participants’ perspective and carefully document the PLC design. This study offers practical and scholarly significance as the design of the PLC reveals tangible ways to enact a PLC that supports technology integration and understanding the educators’ experiences contributes to the knowledge base on how to prepare technology-proficient educators.
