Effective classroom management skills are essential for the practice of teachers. To achieve lasting and evidence-based skills during teacher education, a link between theory and practice is necessary. Effects of didactical learning settings in higher education with a pre-post control group design will be presented. Pre-service teachers analyze videos by creating podcasts considering classroom management aspects. The objective is to establish the professional perception of classroom management during teacher training using video analysis and co-creating podcasts, which are ascertained with a video-based online test. The control group lacks video analysis via podcasts. An expected outcome is that the experimental group (N~220), by using co-constructive analysis of videos by creating podcasts, obtaining significantly higher results than the control group (N~210).
