Mon, April 16, 12:25 to 1:55pm, New York Marriott Marquis, Floor: Fifth Floor, Westside Ballroom Salon 4

Abstract

While the Taiwan Ministry of Education develops a digital RCR education curriculum for higher education, this research seeks to explore if fully online courses engage learners to learn well in RCR education. A total of 431 graduate students’ perceptions of interactivity in RCR courses were examined. The results showed that students who want to take a fully online RCR course exhibited statistically significantly greater perceptions of interactivity in self-control and information access than those who want to take a face-to-face RCR course. Similarly, students who would recommend the online course to others also exhibited statistically significantly greater perceptions of interactivity in self-control and information access than students who want to recommend a face-to-face RCR course.
