This qualitative case study examines students’ perspectives of the learning environment in their schools, which were part of a multi-site effort to transform schools through Enterprise Learning. The purpose of this study was to better understand students’ perceptions of their learning environments and the ways in which students are engaged or disengaged in their classrooms. The study was framed by the following research questions: 1) What do students’ perceptions reveal about their learning environment? 2) In what ways do students’ perceptions align with the perspectives of teachers and administrators? Researchers collected student focus group data, which serves as the primary focus of the analysis.
