This paper combines multiple outcome measures for one long-standing leadership preparation program and considers the quality of individual measures and their combined use as indicative of program effectiveness over several cohorts of graduates. The objectives are to compare 1) cohorts on various program measures to identify trends and patterns; 2) measures of similar outcomes within cohorts as concurrent validation of their use; and 3) measures of different outcomes within and among cohorts. While there are validity challenges to survey feedback and state assessments, taken together, along with candidate, graduate, and school performance documentation, the results show strongly positive program outcomes in preparing school and district leaders for the region, with instructional and transformational leadership strengths.
