Abstract

In this study we present field-test results from the Test of Teacher RTI Knowledge and Skill (T-RTI). The measure, developed as part of the IES-funded Project DATA for RTI: Developing Adept Teams for Advancing RTI, was designed to evaluate the effects of individualized, web-based training on teachers’ instructional and assessment practices as they relate to Response to Intervention (RTI) and/or Multi-Tiered Systems of Support. The field test included 355 teachers working in grades K-8 in schools and actively using the easyCBM© assessment system. The T-RTI was administered online to these teachers, and data from their assessment results as well as qualitative feedback gathered from participants is reported.
