Examining Underlying Assumptions in Campus Sexual Violence Research

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine 10 years’ worth of scholarship about campus sexual assault, with specific attention to the assumptions undergirding research methodologies and interpretation of findings. Through a content analysis, we examined 601 articles related to campus sexual violence in a variety of educationally-related disciplines.
