In this theoretical paper, we begin by discussing how the phenomenon, in post-intentional phenomenology, is being conceived--emphasizing that the post-intentional phenomenon is not the same as the lived experience of that post-intentional phenomenon; is produced and provoked in and over time; and does not “reside” in individual humans, but is being made and unmade in the social--of which the human is one part.
We then articulate how, in post-intentional phenomenology, one is asked to identify their post-intentional phenomenon in context(s), around a social issue. And close by sharing, in first person, how each of the paper’s co-authors have come to their post-intentional phenomena...thus far.
