Abstract

The P.E.A.C.E.*able (*Peaceable Education Approaches And Classroom Environments) Learning Project (Project) was supported by three ICC (Indiana Campus Compact) service learning grants. Service, by traditional definition, solely benefits recipients. As it turns out, those who serve also gain, an enigma of spiritual growth consistent with the archetypal Trickster’s nature. Accordingly, Coyote Style Community Engagement is proposed to frame the Project’s serendipitous nature, challenges of collaboration, professional development and the potentiality of disrupting conventions for spiritual growth and social transformation.
