As one part of a nine-month review of Teacher Growth, Supervision, and Evaluation in Alberta, this collective case study focused on the ways that educators in three school districts understand and enact teacher growth, supervision, and evaluation. The research team collected data through individual and focus group interviews, field notes, and artifacts to provide rich descriptions and analysis to better understand each individual case. More significantly the settings served as instrumental cases to illustrate and illuminate the ways through which teachers and leaders at the school and district levels engaged with the issue of teacher growth, supervision, and evaluation across the cases. Five themes emerging from the cross case analysis are identified.
