Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the variables that best predicted Transfronterizo college students’ sense of on-campus belonging. To identify variables that predicted students’ on-campus sense of belonging this study also investigated students’ demographic characteristics, transborder interactions, and beliefs about their campus climate. A total of 100 (58% female and 42% male) transfronterizo students from a four-year higher education institution in the southwestern region of the United States participated in this study. I determined the predictor variables of transfronterizo students’ sense of belonging through the analysis of a backward multiple regression. Results yielded six statistically significant predictors (Sig. of F= 4.86, p= .00) in the prediction of transfronterizo students’ levels of on-campus sense of belonging.
