This paper aims to take serious the theoretical and practical task of perpetually exposing and confronting the ways in which anti-blackness operationalizes in the context of educational policy, discourse, and practice, as well as elevate the action and voices of those who survive and resist anti-black educational violence as we work to reshape public education. This project situates the lives and educational experiences of Black girls and Black youth organizers as integral to further understanding and resisting anti-black violence in the public educational sphere.
