Drawing upon the history of resistance and hope, the papers in this session share a unique perspective of how studying history can help higher education scholars, practitioners, and policy makers evaluate the best strategies to combat the racist policies of Trumpism. Together these papers use critical race studies to disrupt the genesis amnesia of the history of resistance exemplified by communities of color.
