Session Type: Demonstration/Performance
This session will be a site for dynamic arts-based inquiry and co-creation by both presenters and audience participants. Three established artist-scholars: a drawing researcher, a dance performer, and a comics maker-theorist, will interweave improvisational performance, audience engagement, and discussion of theories and methods of individual and collective meaning-making. The session will integrate dance, drawing, and comics, creating a generative space between these forms. Bringing with us deep experience, skills, and knowledge in our respective disciplines, we are interested in exploring the unknown terrain between these distinct practices. This highly interactive session will celebrate uncertainty and embrace the unknown. It will be a gathering for discovery rather than a predetermined dissemination of research results.
