Abstract
COR for Kindergarten, developed by HighScope, comprises a kindergarten entry assessment and an ongoing formative assessment of kindergarten students. This paper describes the validation process of both assessments. Kindergarten entry assessments and ongoing formative assessments in kindergarten are gaining in wide-spread use. A vide, reliable, and practical assessment is needed and COR for Kindergarten foots the bill.
