Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
As a special session presented by the Test Validity Research and Evaluation SIG, distinguished researchers and professionals will participate in a structured Q&A about challenging topics in contemporary practice and theory. In particular, the session will highlight potential differences in ideal or practical implementation of validity theory across a range of educational testing contexts, such as within classroom assessment or broad accountability systems. The session format is a moderated conversation combining questions submitted in advance by members of the SIG and questions asked in person by attendees. Anyone with interest in contemporary validity theory is welcome.
