Abstract

Peer reviewing is one of the most invisible and important processes of manuscript and conference proposal submissions, mystifying graduate students and early career scholars alike. In this workshop, we will provide an overview of requirements and peer reviewing processes for papers submitted to AERA Division D as well as for select journals that focus on measurement and research methodologies. The interactive workshop will include analyzing sample manuscripts, reviewer comments, and requirements for select journals. AERA standards for publication will be reviewed and used as guidelines for writing and reviewing manuscripts.
