Connecting to Congress: Stories and Strategies

Abstract

AERA supports a range of advocacy activities to represent education researchers up on Capitol Hill – including creating important opportunities for our members to connect with Congress. Please join us for a discussion with AERA members who are currently working in Congressional offices as part of the AERA Congressional Fellowship along with AERA members who have recently participated in delegation visits to Capitol Hill. In addition to sharing stories about their experiences, participants will share advice for AERA members interested in making their research policy relevant.
