This study seeks the opinions of higher education information technology professionals on organizational mindfulness and mindful organizing as it pertains to their impact upon both departmental and institutional missions and then attempts to reach consensus on those opinions. The study is anonymous, with only the researcher being aware of the participants’ identities (and this only to facilitate communication). Utilizing a Delphi Methodology, a series of questionnaires were sent to people determined to be experts in the field. Following a brainstorming and a narrowing-down round, analysis of subsequent rounds’ responses approach consensus. Consensus is determined by statistical evaluation of answers’ deviation from the panel median, both standard deviation and interquartile ranges, as well as majority opinions on each item.
