Ethnography of a Nonmaterial Body: Following Teacher Activism

Abstract

This paper offers a possible methodology for studying affective bodies in education. As a multi-sensory ethnography of the collective activist practices of three different teacher-activists, this paper discusses the ways in which multiple senses must be utilized, in order to know how these activist practices travel between public activist events and classrooms.
