Abstract

This paper highlights the perception of teachers who are evaluated under Colorado’s Educator Effectiveness Law, exploring how the professional practice rubric informs their practice. Two major themes emerged from the data. The first theme is the rubric is a source of stress for teachers. The second theme is an inadequate implementation of the rubric by schools principals.
