Cultivating Graduate Education Aspirations

Abstract

The study examines disparities in students’ aspirations for graduate education across gender and racial/ethnic identities. In doing so, we examine a national sample of students who successfully completed their undergraduate education to understand the individual and institutional factors that influence their likelihood of aspiring to attain a graduate degree.
